About this business

Prevent A Litter Veterinary Hospital is the first low cost, non-profit, spay/neuter clinic to open in Virginia. Since 1999, we have performed over 97,000 surgeries for cats, dogs and even rabbits! This has significantly reduced the number of homeless animals entering shelters and roaming the streets. We also provide low cost vaccines on a walk in basis for any cat or dog that has been spayed or neutered. We take pride in the high quality of our work and are looking forward to our 100,000th surgery coming up in late 2016!

We took our pitbull puppy Salem in yesterday to be neutered, chipped and get his rabies vaccine. They were so kind. They kept us updated.Salem had a growth that we were unaware of and they took care of it. Super sweet ladies. We live in Chester and it was worth the drive. We won't go anywhere else! Love them to bits!!

Took very good care of Bear had his surgery doe today. Very polite and I don't know where you can get neuter and spay for the prices they charge! Bear was the second male I've taken to them and if they weren't good that would not have happened! Thanks so much to all of you working at Prevent a Litter!

Business response:

Bear was such a cutie! We gave him a little round dog bed to sleep in inside his kennel and instead of sleeping in it, he slept on it. It was adorable. Thanks for bringing him in!
