History Established in 1969. February 1962, Arthur Hood Jr. and Arthur Hood Sr. purchased a dealership in Fort Walton Beach. Seven years later, Arthur Jr.'s son, Preston, purchased the Florida dealership from his father and grandfather, and Preston Hood Chevrolet was born.

Service dept is outstanding, starting with the Service Adviser Austin Tipton to the Corvette Certified Technician "Critter" who made my experience painless. I took my 2015 Corvette Z51 for warranty work and my wife's 2016 Tahoe for service work and all the work was done in a timely manner and they insured we were happy with the services provided. Kudos to your service dept and customer service.
