Recommendedjust got home from a 3 day stay here after havi g my beautiful daughter by way of c-section and it was an awesome experience the staff made sure I was comfortable with everything and explained everything that was going on over those three days in depth and sometimes more than once when I needed lol. they took amazing care of me, my baby, and my fiance. the c-section went so well and I was so scared but the staff was enlightened and cheerful throughout the whole thing and really encouraged me to be the same way. thank you all... read more
I went in this morning to portneuf Medical Center for a scope on my knee. Most Professional Medical Center, I have ever been to I was very impressed. from Jackie to Chris Thank you.
The billing department is an absolute joke. My wife and I called in to payoff labor and delivery the Monday after our daughter was born. We just received a bill for more despite settling our account when she was born 8 months ago. They really pull some random number out 8 months later after everything was taken care of and no other communication from them had happened. If there was any other option for hospital services, I would undoubtedly recommend that random hospital over this garbage hospital.
I have had both hips and both shoulders replaced over the last 4 years. Each encounter was a seamless "slam dunk, out of the park home run", from check in to discharge. Anesthesia... superb, OR staff... don't remember, thanks to anesthesia (lol). The Ortho ward was stellar and finally a huge kudos to food service with shout outs to Marcia and Tiffany. Nurses on the joint floor are outstanding! Very courteous and always make sure I am comfortable and have everything I need. 😊
Portneuf is the worst hospital in the world. Their staff is awful and has no empathy. They are lazy and downright rude. They don't listen and don't care about their patients. I wouldn't recommend this hospital to anyone. I've never had a good experience here. Pocatello needs to build a new hospital because Portneuf is absolutely horrific.
