PGE is comparable to Comcast in customer service. It takes about 20 minutes to get a live person, and if you don't have your account number handy at all times (which is about 20 digits) you might as well go fly a kite. Truly a terrible organization with awful customer service.

Terrible web site to pay bills on other than equal pay bill, We were trying to pay a variance, could not find the $ amount anywhere. I called the first time and was told I could not just pay the variance, then I would have $800 credit hanging there? So i hung up with him and called again, still had questions, my call got dropped as soon as we started talking? I called back and was connected, asked about paying a bill and he said hold on I'll connect you to someone at our payment center. We got connected to a lady and she ask... read more

I have had a pretty good experience with PGE. When my checking account was in the single digits their customer service helped with payment plans and didn't judge me. They just showed me they are human, too. Thanks

I have been so filled with gratitude tonight for all the work of each employee at PGE who keep our electricity flowing so seamlessly day after day. After losing power tonight for a mere 3 hours, which felt much longer, I realized that I take our continuous electricity for granted. Thank you, and thanks to those who worked hard tonight to restore our power. I hope this thank you gets shared - you all need to know how appreciated you are!

Outage Sunday evening 4:57pm, Jan 3. So far the estimates of time the electric is supposed to be restored have been 7:04pm, around 8:30, after 9pm, and the latest is 12:42 AM! On all the updates it is marked "under investigation" but it's also noted that no crew was dispatched. What? The electric to your paying customers has died and it isn't worth getting anyone away from Sunday night tv to check it out? Myself and the 2,956 households who have been without power.
