I strongly advise any investor to avoid this company. They managed my property for over a year, and I never received a single rent payment. Their tenant screening is poor—one tenant stayed for eight months without paying rent, and they dragged their feet on taking action. I rented a home with them in February 2024. The home had led paint in the windows and mold was found in the ventilation system/ throughout the home. My daughter and I had to go to the hospital 3 times, they ignored city orders, and I ended up losing all belongings due to mold spores. The management company kept my deposit and there was no damage to the home. The water damage was so bad that by daughter breathing machine stopped working, our tvs, and iPad. They start out being nice and promising to do a excellent job of managing you property. But believe me changes. Turnkey in Dearborns owner Jim Taylor has a very nasty and rude attitude. And he doesn't know how to speak to people. He's not for owners. All he did was take my money monthly. They never did one walk through or driveby in 4 years. My tenants were hoarding in every room. I’ve been a tenant for 6 years and this by far the worst property management company I’ve dealt with. They are negligent. I was told invest property when I asked for basic upkeep maintenance. Their only goal is to make money not their tenants.
