I cannot say enough about Ponderosa Pet Resort we use for our Loki, a blue heeler. From the owner, Philip, to all the staff including Amy and Ashleigh. We initially did some day camp, then boarding and finally day camp training. Philip discussed a personalized training program with us at length and patiently answered all of our questions. My lab puppy loves going here. The staff is always sweet ,welcoming,and professional. My puppy has attended the day school and the daycare and he loves both areas he’s always tired when he comes home which is amazing 😉 I love that they also take pictures !

We had an amazing experience here! We boarded our 2 furbabies for a week while we were visiting family here. Due to Covid19 our regular boarders in ky were not open yet . So we brought them with us and made our reservation based on a family referral . Everything looked clean and fun when we arrived. The staff members were friendly and incredibly helpful. My dog Shiner is a regular at Ponderosa! The staff are not only compassionate towards all the dogs, but stern when they need it. Your pet gets positive reinforcement for good behavior and healthy correction as appropriate. They respect the customers and have great hours, which work with my schedule when I have long days at work. I like the daycare packages which become more affordable as more visits are purchased and can be used any day of the week.
