Polraen Country House is a friendly and most comfortable venue in an ideal and convenient place near to the town close to Sandplace train station and with a bus stop right outside. Martin and Gill are excellent hosts and their staff are polite, friendly and hardworking. Breakfast was excellent!!
What a beautiful place !! I was a little hesitant with it being 1.5 mile out of looe ,, it was totally worth it Beautiful green countryside trees. Stunning location with parking , the hotel is so traditional and clean quiet A train station is a few hundred yards across the road 5 min ride to looe , that runs most of the day. The drive in is 5 mins by car , but the train has stunning views and no worry if parking. The breakfast here is awesome great produce cooked to perfection 3 days on the trott.. We returned to Polrean again this summer after a wonderful stay last year, and once again we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The most beautiful country house, comfortable and clean room and the most gorgeous breakfast. We would to thank Gill & Martin for making us feel so welcome.
