We have been going to Polar Palace for years. It used to be my son’s favourite place. So I didn’t hesitate when he asked for his party to be held there. I had to pay £35 to secure my deposit and then a further £239 a week in advance for 18 children. On the day only 11 children were able to make the party due to sickness (sickness bugs & chicken pox). Not enough staff, old broken toys and generally dirty. We waited 5 minutes at the desk for the member of staff to finish in the phone, before we could pay for entry. The toys in the under 2s were very old and worn and one baby toy was ripped with the stuffing hanging out. Food all over the floor in the dining area. Just generally a dirty feel and an extortionate rate for the pleasure of it. Two 1yr olds and two adults cost £18.90.
