TL;DR: Do not live here. There are cockroaches everywhere, the walls are crazy thin, and the manager will only listen to you if your parents personally go and complain. They also give their residents free food to get them to give five star reviews. My experience living at this location has been easily one of the worst of my life. I have been living here for four years. What i would say shorty. I do recommend it as a modern nice apartment but I don’t recommend it if you are looking for a friendly stuff. Management are not that caring for their residents basically. And if you have a problem with your apartment, it will take forever to get fixed.
From a parents point of view there are much better places out there. This place needs better management.. My daughters vehicle was towed last night due to her parking in the 30 min parking spot however she has the Pointe on Rio sticker on her car and there are many other students who park there overnight as well. Warning: Stay away from Pointe on Rio! People living there party every night and make unbearable noise. I've complained about this with staffs 7 times and nothing been done! I've also confronted the neighbors many times but those people continued making noise anyway. I think you guys deserve to know this!
I've only been here for three days and already feels like home. The staff is very friendly and supportive, the amenities are first class, and the short walk to campus makes it an ideal student apartment.
From a parents point of view there are much better places out there. This place need to update their billing as they will not allow you to pay the rent a day early. This is especially a problem if you are going on vacation. We came gone to numerous late fees and the staff was unwilling to work with us. We also had issues with the utility bills. They switched utility providers and never notified us. The new one has numerous service fees.
This place is always under construction. Half the facilities are available for use, the elevator never works, and it's always dirty from the construction. You hear workers pounding away all day and still they expect you to pay full price. On top of that the fire alarm goes off on a weekly basis for no reason. It is the most obnoxious sound. Do yourself a favor and keep looking for places to live.
