WOW.... what a great place.. great location ... great price & excellent customer service .. I am currently staying here after weather last week kept me away.. Benny (front desk Mgr) was able to make my delayed trip worry free & as a native New Yorker in the service industry .. I am most impressed.. I have the queen pod w private shower ... clean .. clean.. Will only stay here when visiting my son who lives 4 blocks away... Thank You Pod for providing an affordable way to come back Home
Everything was exactly what I wanted with a NYC hotel. My room was surprisingly more spacious than I thought it would be. The only thing most people traveling with others would have to think about when staying in a room with a bathroom is that the bathroom is literally in the room. Not a lot of privacy. But- I have no problem going out into the hall and using one of the shared bathrooms. They were clean and private. This location totally exceeded my expectations and I will definitely be back and recommend to friends.

Our room was nice and cozy
quite comfy and great location
We were excited to stay at pod51. The first night was awful as the heat went over 90 in the room and the thermostat broke. There was no tech on duty at the time so the front desk said to wait until the morning - not going to happen. Finally she came to the room to look, told us it was broken and we had to ask multiple times to switch rooms. We finally switched rooms (lower floor, louder but at least it wasn't 90) and it was fine. The worst part was after when we emailed the manager to let them know about our experience.
