RecommendedYup, they're very small rooms (and why it's called The Pod) with private shower & bathrooms on each floor, but: the hotel is very clean, modern, hip and quite affordable! It's a short 1.5 block walk from the 51st and Lexington train stop and there's lots of great food and restaurant options closeby. If you just need an affordable and comfy place to sleep, shower, and be on your way to explore the city, it's a GREAT option!
I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Upon arrival, we paid for our room in full only to get up to our room to find we had no water. Called the front desk, and they already knew. So instead of letting us know ahead of time so we could find someplace else to stay, they gladly took our money. They claimed we'd have water by 3pm. Fast forward to the next morning, we still don't have water. So now that's 2 days we have not been able to shower.
