I will not recommend anyone to bank with BBVA. On April 26th I reported that my account was compromised and all my funds were stolen. The bank and fraud department did nothing to help me and consistently denied my fraud claims. In fact, the first agent **** that I spoke with accused me of stealing my own funds. When I asked to receive a credit the representative stated that they simply do not have the funds to just credit to my account. The transactions were not made by me. My information was in fact stolen and also, there is a police report regarding this matter that was sent to the bank.
On April 9th I contacted my bank PNC bank in regards to a merchant New tree that I placed an order with after attempting to make adjustments to the order and being told that they would not be able to. I asked the merchant to cancel the order and I advised that I would be contacting my bank to ask them to not release the funds, in the process of me doing this I was told by my bank that I would have to allow the pending to go through and than I would have to file a dispute, it took approximately 5 business days for the bank to... read more

I went into this branch hoping to get some information on the letter i received . The branch manager ***** ******* made my experience awful. He made fun of me being deaf and He told me I was frustrating him and kicked me out . I advise anyone with disabilitys to not come to this location . They will treat you poorly .

Shocking this bank leaves its customer stranded. :( Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Unable to log in online and unable to talk to someone on the phone. The website directs me to call their customer service number, when I call, a generic message tells me they are having technical problems and hangs up. This has been going on for days! Truly unbelievable! BBVA should be ashamed. What kind of company has ZERO concern for their customers?
BBVA's Simple migration, which took place on May 8, 2021 has been an absolute nightmare for thousands of users. We were told for months that the transition would be smooth and in May 8th we'd use an online tool to convert our accounts from Simple to BBVA without issue or interruption to our online banking. Their system completely failed, as is evident by the ******* threads directed as @BBVA_USA. The transition from Simple to BBVA is a dumpster fire. If in 2021 they can't figure out how to let users have access to their own accounts, I'd recommend everyone getting there money as soon as they can out of these incompetent people's hands.
If I could give ZERO stars I could I have a lot of money in this bank account just for them to switch over and now I can't access anything also been calling the customer service if the automated person doesn't hang up on me when I finally get someone they hang up right away called about 50 times since yesterday you can't tell me everyone o got connected to is having the same phone issue or they are just hanging up on simple customers to not deal with it and there is nothing I can do but sit here because WHO DO I CALL!!!!
I am a simple customer, the transition happened yesterday 5/8/2021. When trying to set up my online account I was immediately locked out due to their servers being overwhelmed. Their Simple account transition is a joke, tried to setup an account on the website but would not accept anything entered in the created user name field, then tried to setup an account on the mobile app and got a system error. Call the help number on Saturday and the message says up to one hour wait due to "technical problems". Sunday same problem, and on Monday got hung up on.
