I want to warn everyone as a consumer to never use BBVA compass. So, about a year ago I paid off my truck. An was anticipating my title for my truck so months go by and silence so I called. Every representative I spoke with was disrespectful and refused to transfer me. Then after the fourth call a lady transferred me to a young lady whom noted my account about them and their mistake. Hands down the worst customer service and user experience (website) I have ever had. I was also a Simple customer (thankfully not all of my money) that transitioned to BBVA. The initial transition was fine and my account and debit cards worked. When I needed to access the website and mobile app is where the trouble started. Consistently (**** times) would get locked out and have to call support. Reset password and all other methods just do not work, you have to call support. Beware: Loopholes!I am a former Simple customer who was switched over to BBVA. I LOVED Simple...it was so...SIMPLE. Everything about BBVA has been HARD.So. Many. Fees. A never ending barrage of fees starting with the "paper statement fee" that you have to opt out of. I never got paper statements with Simple, so why would I need BBVA to suddenly start sending me paper statements? I am an ex-Simple customer. I was devastated when BBVA bought out and was removing ************ replacing it with their own service. I had been with Simple since their beta days 10 years ago and absolutely loved my experience with them. Simple didn't feel like a traditional, basic, soulless banking app like the rest. This is not a complaint about the local branch but against BBVA in general.. Last week my wife ********************* received an email reporting a fraudulent charge and instructing her to call the fraud line. The first time she called she left the phone on for 3 hours and it just repeated the same automatic message. The next morning she tried for 2 hours with the same result. EMERGENCY transfer through Zelle had to happen! I was at high risk for being broke for 6 days due to weekend and regular transfer time. Direct deposit funds were available and ready to Zelle transfer. Could not due to new account. Even though my funds were available to transfer and completely resolve my issue. INHUMANE. I cannot describe in any other way.

My credit limit was $11,000 until 3 days ago when it mysteriously dropped down to $3600 after a charge of roughly $2500. Prior to the charge my balance was about $700 and hadn't been over $2000 in well over a year. Customer service gave me the vague, company line I'd expected. I assume the issue stems from the fact that I opened a new card with them recently. A balance transfer card with a limit of $9500 which I utilized. I'm a simple customer that had no issues signing up and setting up my online banking until today when i got an email stating my system administrator stopped my access to my online and mobile banking customer support was no help said I need to reset passcode which didn't work still have me an error about getting permission then now they keep hanging up on me as soon as I tell them what's going on!!!! This is so frustrating. What is going on with the bank???
