I tried to get a physician mortgage through BBVA. A loan agent almost immediately preapproved me for a loan in my desired amount and I was elated. I found a house I liked and made an offer. After that things went down-hill. He wouldn't return phone-calls or emails. The appraisal took forever to even be scheduled. Half-way through the sale, this agent sent me an email that whoops! Horrible customer support and even worse online banking. They come with excuses on why your wrong before they took the opportunity to look at what was wrong with their "System"
I have been banking at the **** location ******************************** ***************** for 5 months in the culture at this particular location is horrible. I am not sure if it's my age, sexual orietation, the color of my skin or language I speak but each time I am not treated as a customer. It's been numerous of occasions from walking in asking about information on account, from applying for credit & being denied ; from even standing outside waiting on a Uber. *** sucks. I have been with *** for 26 plus years.. I recently had a case of fraud and they refused to credit my account and they said it could take 12-90 days to resolve the issue. *** trusts the company that caused the fraud more than me.*** does not look out for their customers. I am canceling my account

I switched to Simple many years ago because it was just that banking that was simple with fantastic design and customer experience. BBVA, Simple's parent bank, decided to shut it down, and the transfer of business BBVA, in ***** contrast, has a customer experience that is clumsy, opaque, and confused. BBVA, through its actions, has shown a total disregard for its customer's wellbeing and has forgotten that it is still providing a service to humans.
They do not honor their intro bonus advertisements. ***** is way better

Took *********** loan out in 2018 and managed to pay it off the first week of February 2021. Received bank statement for February 2021 showing loan paid and a zero balance. On June 3rd, 2021 during a refinance process on our home, the refi company advised loan still showed PNC as lein on house deed. Contacted PNC customer service and they advised that they just started the process of releasing the lein on JUNE 1st!!!!!!. This held up my refi and caused my family distress. First of all this "bank" doesn't deserve even 1 star. Deserves NEGATIVE 10 STARS! Unfortunately my bank, Simple was taken over be BBVA and closed on May 8th...... I still can't access my account at Bbva. I call and upon answering the call reps immediately say that they are unable to look up account information to try back again in about ***** min. Horrible service. Locked my account for fraudulent activity and wouldnt unlock it even after I provided proof of transactions. Now Im behind on bills for 90days after another investigation is being done.I dont know what Im going to do as far as far as living arrangements. I asked them to not allow withdrawals from vendors and they approved that but vendors are still withdrawing my money and when I called cooperate they still continued to let them withdraw out of the account.
