I have had multiple issues with PNC bank and my mortgage. I did not have ANY issues with my mortgage payments until it was transferred to PNC bank. In the beginning they were duplicating my payments and then would not send me a refund for over 21 days. It was as if I was paying a mortgage on a home twice the amount I could afford and they refused to remedy the issue aside from taking 21 days to send me a paper check. If you need a mortgage loan avoid PNC entirely. This entire process has been a complete and utter nightmare. The cherry on top, was the fact that they waited until 5:30pm on the Friday before a federal holiday weekend (where they will be closed on Monday) to tell us our closing will have to be delayed an additional 3 days due to an oversight that they wrote on closing documents that they had sent us days prior. If I could give ZERO stars that is where I would start. I have been a PNC customer since ************************************* issues with maintaining a decent balance at all times. I called to see if I could convert euros after a trip to Europe. Told them I am a credit card holder but no longer have a checking account. They said no problem and to schedule an appointment on the website, which I did. Showed up for the appointment and they told me they could not convert the euros because I am not a customer. The customer service person recalled my call from a few days ago and said they were sorry they were wrong. I thought that they should have given me the correct information in the first place. Had the worst experience with this bank. For whatever reason, they bounced a check that was issued to me by my business partner drawn on his PNC bank business account. The reason given was that the check was "suspicious" without any further explanation. I got a replacement check drawn on the same account by the same person and this time they credited my account without any issue. Ever since PNC took over from BBVA, there have been nothing but additional fees. I did not have a large account, but when they started taking fees out, I decided to transfer the rest of my money to another bank. Then I got hit with a "monthly service charge" because there was $0 in my account. PNC was not willing to remove that service charge and I had to re-deposit a service charge just to close the account. Absolutely ridiculous policy.

If you're an elderly person and need assistance THIS IS NOT THE **** FOR YOU!! Im my grandmother's legal caretaker and she wanted to change her pin number to something she could easily remember. The guy assisting her wouldn't allow the pin change to go through cause I was helping her. My grandmother is legally blind, she told him I'm her caretaker and she is letting me assist her. My family has been waiting for them to close and distribute an account for over a full calendar year. This was supposed to be resolved by May 2021. It is now May 2022 and we havent gotten anything but excuses. We had to pressure them just to get a partial distribution, which we completed paperwork for almost 2 months ago, and no one has heard from them since.
