I have had the worst week with PNC bank. First I had fraud on my card a new one was mailed out.. to an old address. Then I was told I have to go into the bank, which were only open during my exact work hours. Then I cut my day short to go into the bank only to leave with a card that was linked to an account that was NOT mine. Then I was told a card would be sent Overnight and to use my previous PIN number. Is there a rating for Minus 1 star? I have never experienced anything like this. My Daughter opened an account with PNC while living in VA. She passed away recently in DC. I have a VA order as the Administrator of her affairs and provided it along with her death certificate. They will not honor those documents to close her account and expects me to travel to DC courts for a piece of paper. To fight them it would cost me more than what the account is worth. Good luck trying to get assistance on weekend. Then when you get through in the morning the girl seems annoyed she has to deal with people. Rather than listen, she assumes what the issue is and then proceeds to spout out erroneous and useless advice. Next time I will just stick to the Robot Lady.

STAY AWAY from PNC bank and their website. This morning I was unable to login to my checking account. Calling customer service was of no help, they blamed my phone and my internet browser, and to seek help from the family members which is none of their business. Then how come that I can login to another bank with no problem whatsoever? Finally by sheer stroke of luck was able to login from both Chrome and Firefox, which I shouldn't be able to do according to the *** customer service. This is how much they know. Incompetent in filing pay off check. this started on 2/23/2022 when we had our 2018 Toyota refinanced with our bank, ******** ****** ***** in Chiefland FL. Our first pay off check was mailed on 2/25/2022 and sent to PNC Bank, N.A. ***** ******Pittsburgh PA, after a week I check and still on check. Called today 3/17/2022 and still showed balanced owed, even through the check was received on 3/15/2022 at 7:45 am and was signed for. I have never been able to solve even the simplest of problems by speaking with the clerks in PNC Bank customer service. Speaking with a competent customer service agent requires a great deal of time and effort and often times even the best and most persistent efforts fail to engage a competent clerk or achieve a solution to a problem. Terrible, they couldn't tell me how a merchant kept taking money from my account, gave me the run around now I have to wait (90 days) for a dispute that I would not have had to put in if PNC employees had protected my account. Their customer service tells you nothing but that someone else will call you back and they never do.

My account closure was fumbled and I have not received funds after five months. I had a mortgage with Compass, which became BBVA, which then became PNC. I refinanced the mortgage with another bank. I called to close the remaining checking account. After 6 phone calls and multiple emails, and over 2 hours of my time, I have not received the funds. At least one check was sent to the wrong address, where I had never lived. My address has not changed since these accounts were opened. The incompetence is so frustrating.

Identity Theft. My experience with PNC personal banking when I experienced fraud.I was surprised to see an unfamiliar $3500 withdrawal from my account. I called and reported fraud. Upon my investigation from the image available on line and from speaking to the agent someone filled out a withdrawal slip wrote in my account number and signed my name.
