Good healthcare is hard to find. Finding a trustworthy medical professional who leaves with that feel good feeling even when the news is not great is priceless. I traveled more than 600 miles to see Dr. James. There are some good surgeons in my area but none made me feel comfortable about my next steps or take my case as seriously as Dr. James. Dr. James makes you feel like family from the moment you meet him. Very much recommend. He makes sure that your goals for healing are considered. He actually wants you to return to activities such as weightlifting, where as most Dr.s in that would would discourage it. DR. JAMES IS THE BEST.

Dr. James is the best spine orthopedic MD in the state if not the country. His practice is top notch with a staff that rocks, particularly his PAs. I can't recommend him highly enough.

Dr James is one of the finest spinal surgeons in the south east. He is surrounded by a great staff of helpful individuals whom are all very kind and yet professional. I have recommended him to couple people who had,had “bad” surgeries that he has helped walk again. A amazing doctor, skilled, kind, informative, caring and professional.

He kept me informed and reassured at every step during the process. I had complete confidence in him and that it was the right decision and timing when it came for my procedure. His bedside manners along with post-op follow ups were outstanding. It was a pleasure withing with Dr. James and his staff. I highly recommend him for your spinal needs.

Excellant. Dr. James has been my back doctor for over 15 years. He has performed 3 back surgeries on me. Each one went beautifully and I have no limitations, pain or issues with my back. He is extremly studied and trained; and very kind and totally focused on his patitents care. His staff is effiecient and personable. I would not go to any other back/spine doctor than Dr. James!
