Dr James was fantastic! So thorough. He performed surgery on my husband and now I am seeing him. I work in healthcare so I understood what he was explaining about my problem but if I hadn’t had knowledge of anatomy I would have still understood because of how detailed he was.
Dr. James is simply my favorite doctor. I’ve had skiing accident years ago and found him through a friend. He’s been providing such a wonderful and kind care, always listening to concerns, addressing them well and with so much understanding and care. I feel fortunate to have found Dr. James. The first doctor I went to seemed unconcerned that my L1 burst fracture had not healed in three months. However, I saw Dr. James for a second opinion. He examined me thoroughly and requested a bone density test. He answered all of my questions and made sure I had proper protocol to follow rather than just telling me, “you will probably be ok to exercise and ride horses” even though my back is fractured. Dr. James is professional, smart and kind.
Dr. James and his staff are amazing. He is a highly skilled surgeon and at the top of his field. From my first visit, he was thorough and caring. This time last year I was unable to stand for more than 5 minutes without experiencing debilitating pain. I underwent surgery in September of 2020. Currently, I have been able to resume all leisure, exercise and professional activities without pain. I have my life back. Post and aftercare guidance and instructions were were clear and very beneficial. I highly recommend Dr. James!
I had my first visit today with Dr. James regarding upper cervical pain and tingling. I have never encountered a more professional, genuinely personable, and warm spirited physician. He was extremely thorough in assessing my issues and didn’t rush me when asking additional questions. This was our first visit with Dr James. There was no hesitation on our part to schedule surgery with him. We felt like we mattered and that the outcome is just as important to him (as if we were a family member). He is very knowledgeable, friendly and will work with you. Several people recommend him to us and I can see why.

Dr James is a very thorough yet compassionate doctor. He spent more time with me during my initial appointment than two other providers that had been recommended to me had all combined. Not only did he take the time to actually listen, he included my husband to hear his plan for my spine and what should be expected. Something two other doctors had failed to do blaming COVID.
