A wonderful surgeon and person. Have sent several people to him.
For the past 5 weeks, I was being referred to one specialist after another. Finally, I ended up in the ER presenting stroke like symptoms. I was diagnosed with Cervical and Lumbar Spinal Stenosis. My experience at Piedmont ER was nothing short of a nightmare. So, I was skeptical before my visit with Dr. Plas. I seldom find myself short of words. Dr Plas was very thorough in my exam trying to get to the root cause of my back pain and problems. I didn’t feel like it was rushed and he was more than willing to listen and let me ask as many questions that I might have. Staff and front office especially are very friendly and helpful. Definitely would recommend Dr Plas to any other patients looking for a great spine Dr!!
Dr James is extremely knowledgeable and quite brilliant but he is always able to impart information to me in a way that I can easily grasp it. He is upbeat and has a positive attitude that puts one at ease. However, he never lands on any definite assessment without having as much diagnostic data as possible before doing so. I have complete confidence in him.
Dr. James and Staff are a pleasure to see. Everyone is very courteous and polite. I wish more Dr offices ran like this....
