I love this place. We have visited with our whole family in the house and also as a couple in the separate tower appartment. Joan is a thoughtful and kind host and it just feels rather special. The house really is like a castle with large comfortable rooms and original features - we love the large open fires downstairs in the evenings and gathering around the huge kitchen table for meals. We booked Plas Mynach for a group of 12 for my 50th birthday & it exceeded our expectations. Spacious, lovely bedrooms with very comfy beds, and the communal areas had plenty of room for everyone to spread out during the day then come together as a group in the evenings. The views over the sea from the garden are spectacular, the kitchen is warmed constantly by the Aga so it's perfect for sitting around and chatting, and the large dining table was the highlight for all of us to enjoy the birthday dinner.
