Irrespective of other reviews; my experience was completely different. Had an emergency no water no gas no electricity, called homeserve who contracted out to PL. Had Jay ; the engineer come out. Attentive, listened to what I had to say, used his diligence . Inspection carried out, found the root cause, explained what had gone wrong and fixed the problem . Nothing short of professionalism. I want to give them 0 stars. Homeserve and PL Taylor are both a scam. I will never recommend these electrical services to anyone. One electrician named Jayesh came to fix a minor problem on behalf of homeserve and refused to carry out any works due to the parking availability. However, there was many open pay to park areas around my property. After half an hour bargaining with his office, he finally came and fixed the minor issues. I am disgusted with this company who are used by homeserve... Bradley came out to my address and refused to enter my property where I had young babies waiting to be warm... Because did not like the parking offered.. My neighbors drive which was empty and I have permission to park if urgent... Outside flats where all contractors park no problem..He refuses smirks like a child... Sits in his car making up stories and drives off... What an embarrassment to the profession.. Country and humanity.

Excellent service - we had a serious problem no lights or socket power and there were just 3 working days to Christmas day. Taylors reorganised commitments to fit us in, the electrician arrived as planned and after carrying out a thorough check (45 minutes later ) he had identified the problem to a faulty security light - let there be light and power !! we were back to normal. The electrician was polite, pleasant helpful and informative. 😊👍
