I can't say enough about how well my cat Toby was treated and cared for by the staff at pvsec. Toby had two separate stays that lasted longer than 3 days each, one of which involved surgery for idiopathic chylothorax. We were kept in the loop regularly during his stay, and could always reach somebody to provide an update at any time. Knowing that Toby was being cared for by such a tremendous staff, made our lives easier in an incredibly stressful time. We would not hesitate to recommend pvsec to anybody.

Our German Shorthair Pointer was in an accident were a large stick went into her chest about 6-7 inches. We have never had to go to an Emergency Clinic before and the closest 24hr emergency service was two hours away from us so we headed to state college with Lilly thinking that they would be able to help us. Well they were able to get her stable and then called me 6 hrs later to come get her and take her to Pittsburgh. We arrived to on Wednesday afternoon and they did surgery on Thursday morning and discovered that the stic... read more

I can't say enough about the Neurology department. Dr MacKillop brought our baby Hudson's legs back. He is on the mend and will be making up for lost time.

We couldn't have asked for better people to take care of our Bailey. Dr. Christine Anderson and Sue Wolski are wonderful and caring human beings. The entire staff there was always kind and helpful. Highly recommended.

I can't say enough about how well they treated my Teeka. She had TPLO surgery and the vets, as well as the rest of the staff were very nice and made sure they explained everything in detail. Great place!!

I will be forever grateful for PVSEC saving the life of my dog Snickers after he was brutally attacked by a 200 lb. dog. The doctors and staff there took such good care of him performing emergency surgery on a Saturday afternoon and having such a wonderful ICU. I know he would have bled to death without immediate surgery. The attack was on March 21 and yesterday Snickers walked down the step to get to our backyard, Such a small step, but we were possibly faced with the decision to amputate his leg. Now Snickers is almost ful... read more
