It was fine for a quick visit, owners very friendly, but, and its a big but, i hope you dont mind the sound of seagulls, because they are everywhere, i couldnt sleep a wink for them, perhaps owners could invest in double glazing

Spent a night and a half here and had a lovely time. The lady who manages the hostel is really kind and welcoming, chatty in a very pleasant way and never too intrusive. She asked me about my stay, suggested places I should visit without me having to even ask her and let me know what areas are safest and which are more fascinating, gifting me a map to make sure I always knew where I was.||The breakfast they offered wasn't my cup of tea -- being Italian I'm used to lots of flavor, and sadly that's not what I found. Small guest house on Dee st,but be aware,you need to register at Butlers Guest House,round the corner on Crown st.I had room 12,at the front,lovely room with en suite etc,VERY clean and comfortable,friendly hosts,remarkable value.Highlt recommend this place if on a budget,and need something near all shops etc.7 min walk from station,and 4 min walk to Union St,the main high street.Only 2 MINOR niggles,the heating went off during the night,and it got quite cold,and noise from traffic might annoy some,but what a brilliant place... read more

Great value for money. Booking over the phone easy. Check in quick. Friendly staff. I stayed in top floor single bed shared bathroom for £39 when everywhere else was charging stupid money due to a concert that night. Rooms VERY clean. Robe and towels provided. Very comfortable. Thanks.
