Terrible customer service. Becasue the TSA decided they could take their sweet time, I missed my flight. My bags needed to be additionally screened, and they sat there for almost 10 minutes before finally doing something. My gate closed 2 mins before I got there. Even though the walkway ramp was still connected to the airplane, they refused to let me on. I didn't get a refund for the flight I missed, even though it was THEIR fault I missed it! First written on June 18th - Worst experience ever! NO communication, plane delayed then cancelled and almost no information given by airport staff whatsoever. Waited for 6 hours from the time we checked in 2 hours prior to departure until we finally had a hotel to stay at. There is just no excuse!!! EDIT June 24th- Please read the comments below as this review should have been directed at Allegiant and not Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport.

Plane is late ...... Again........ No communication ....... Again ........... Same thing happened Sunday. Common theme. Fly another airline.

I don't have issues with the airport as much as I do with Allegiant Air. They have serious blind spots. I'm so disappointed. The sad part is I wish they were better it's more convenient to fly out of Provo but the extra charges and surprises are not worth it. The outsourced help at the checkin desk have no interest in caring for the Allegiant customers. They need a lesson is customer service. If you fly with Allegiant DON'T always delays!!! If it isn't flight crew shortages the planes have issues. If we could we wouldn't. Always looking for different airlines.
I work in online marketing and with customer service and reviews. I had a family friend who is an allegiant pilot as well. I have flown this airline so many times and have had more bad experiences then good. I keep coming back b/c the flights are so cheap however, the customer service is awful. Yes, I'd rather get there safe but today's flight to Missoula, Montana was boarded then Unboarded then the gal at the gate said aloud she had no idea what was going on. Ugh, another flight delayed due to mechanical failure. We are penalized for not upholding our end of the contract, shouldn't that be the same for Allegiant??
