Though not as large as the Sky Harbor International Airport, the Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport functions as a regional airport for those who want to fly on a budget airline. Formerly known as Williams Gateway Airport, it is definitely convenient for residents of the East Valley as well. The only airline that services Gateway is Allegiant Airlines, but it has several low-cost routes around the country. Additionally, the airport has a few car rental companies located in the main terminal.

Great Airport less car traffic, great check in counters, friendly agents, relaxed atmosphere. Sure better than Skyharbor where you might get trampled!
I had a great �� experience here. Everyone was nice planes left on time. Seems to be the complaints are usually the customers own fault �
RecommendedOur experience at Phoenix-Mesa Gateway was good. I just think they may need additional cashiers or food prep persons at Paradise Café right after a flight arrives. First of all, people were cutting in line because of how the setup is. I understand that really is no fault of the airport or café, except that they could block off the sides and only allow people through the lllloooonnnngggg line. Otherwise the airport is clean, marked well, friendly staff. I enjoy it compared to bigger airports.

Today my sister and her father had a flight to Michigan and missed there flight. Yes we are aware that it is not the airports fault it is ours. When we tried to figure out a solution to our problem there were two ladies working the front, it was the absolute worst service ever received in our lives!! These young woman were rude, passive aggressive and not helpful at all, one was on the phone with someone giggling not doing her job and the other was texting. Awesome small airport it was about time flights to vegas and back were cheap
Coffee shop or nothing open at 6:45 am!!! WTF? Passengers looking everywhere for somewhere to buy something! Big loss of $$$ for them and lack of amenities for customers = bad business
