Really nice, helpful staff. But rather dirty and some areas have a funky scent, kind of moldy/ dusty. Room that was rented had pet fur all along the baseboard. Super outdated. I grew up in Lombard and always heard of "Phesant Run". I have friends and family from out of state who ask about it and talk about it. Honestly, I'm not overly impressed and don't recommend it if you're looking before something really nice. But, if you have a bunch of kids, they won't notice anything major, so it works.
Rooms need updating. Bed skirts were hanging sloppily around the bed. Nice full mirror on closet. However it was spotty and dirty. Should have complained but we were too busy with 3 small grandchildren. Pool was nice. We enjoyed the pool. We had to wait 40 minutes to get towels delivered to the pool area. 2 calls then a walk to the front desk. Light show was not spectacular. Won’t be returning.
Was disappointed in entire stay. Was not what I expected at all, light show was disappointing, “Bourbon street” was boring, was thinking it was more of a fun atmosphere with more bars or restaurants to visit. Zanies comedians were not funny in fact they were very insulting, joking and using word “retard” or calling someone a “retard” is not what I consider funny. Would not recommend this as a fun getaway. Very run down, not much of a food selection in restaurants and overpriced drinks
This place is a joke! Horribly ran and no idea how to treat customer's!!! Very old and outdated. Will not be back!
Folks get out of that winter time blues, Treat yourself to great entertainment and a weekend get away . Pheasent Run is a great low cost weekend away from all your problems.
I had a great time, everything was well organized. I like be walking down bourbon street. I stop by and had some gumbo. All and all I had a good time. I have yet to stay at hotel area. Maybe one Day I will. But I would definitely go again for a show or that really cool looking escape the room.
Not what it used to be.. Wouldn't go back until they put some $ in accommodations. Charged top rate for a second rate hotel. It was clean but that's about it. Toilet was plugged up. Shower and sink fixtures rusty and corroded. Peeling wall paper. Old old TV with very few cable channels and poor picture. Chair in the room was from the 70's and had stains on it. Beware of the fees.
I enjoyed my stay here. The place is in serious need of a remodeling. A lot of the places inside were oddly closed most of the weekend. I wonder if they only have staff to keep one or two places open. Anyhow make sure you stay in the tower as I was told the rest of the rooms are garbage. Most likely would not stay here again.
Loved every part of the experience! It was breathtaking & so beautiful! Very clean place...have to do it again & again. Decorations were so magical & loved the Christmas music & lights.
