Pheasant Run is a wonderful resort. The rooms have been updated for the most part. The shows are great and the food is good too. Zanies also has pretty good comedians. I would say. 4 out of 5. The convention center is also a nice add on.
This is one of our favorite places to go weather with family or just adults. There is something for everyone. Always go to comedy and the spa both wonderful! Even better is we don’t have to leave the property🤗 food is also pretty good
I brought my family of six to come swim. After paying $15 per person, I’d expect there to ge pool towels and the bathroom near the indoor pool to not be flooded with water. We had to change in the bathroom near the bar due to the floors having tons of standing water. That being said, the purpose of bringing my children to swim in the indoor/outdoor pool was to swim and have that experience and they loved it! It was a special treat to swim, but very expensive for the couple hours on the evening.
Check in was slow and not monitored. People were walking in and going to desk cutting those in line. Bathtub was rusty or dirty either not too appealing. NYE is was ok for but I would most likely not return for a weekend getaway
Dinner was good...the hall walking to the event was just as cold as outside, the portable heaters were not working and I was not wearing a coat. We were staying at the hotel for NYE why would I carry/wear my coat to an event in the hotel? Very disappointed with that... The wine with the NYE package at the bar was horrible, the DJ could of played more modern dance music...would of got the band package but wanted to dance, that didn’t happen, no tables available to seat at, had to stand all night The mattress was very uncomfor... read more
Went here for the New Year’s Eve package and this was very unorganized ppl who took reservations prior to coming gave you false information The rooms was not as clean and the shower head and tub was rusted we only got one washcloth and when we called for more they never bought them there was a group of 13 of us the food was fair not what you would expect from a resort that suppose to be 5 star very below average I will not return again or recommend this resort to anyone. Had an excellent time dinner was great hors d'oeuvres drinks Etc. Best part was the band they hired to play. Called This End Up Band. Www. Teuband .com Most people there were dancing all night to the very end. They play a great variety of songs for everyone. Was worth every penny.
Had a great time on New Years Eve. The Zanies comedians were so funny I had a side ache from laughing so hard. Room is getting dated but the bed was super comfy with newer bedding. Disappointed with the New Year breakfast buffet as the good was cold and service was horrible plus a bit pricey. We will look to go back on New Year’s Eve 2018 but will probably pass on the breakfast
If it wasn't for the kids I was with I'd give this place a 1. No handicap access to the 2nd floor. Water wasn't even luke warm in either of the showers. If you bump the heat up for room temp, the top floor gets super hot while the bottom floor freezes. Everything is super outdated. I'm talking big bulk tv's that get crappy reception. No information booklet of any sort in our room. So many parts of this building are freezing due to lack of heating.
