Went for a year 7 trip with shaftesbury and I still remeber my expections for this place and ignoring advice of others before hand anyway stayed over night and the bunk beds are inadequate the activities are cheap rip off of pgl that the teachers have to sort themselves the rooms feel old and stingy like a 1950s camping holiday the toilets are disgusting and I don't know they get away with and comfort and sleep there is limited and you generally get this feeling of disgust if you can afford it get your students pgl as that w... read more
It is a really great activity and campsite when you are out doing something like DofE. I went there twice and it’s alright, the showers are full of freezing cold water, the public toilets stinks worse than a skunk.
