I recently attended A&E and I believe this rating is reasonable however the staff are overworked and the management are near to useless. Peterborough City Hospital goes from one extreme to the next, however it all boils down to the team you get on the day! I was admitted to the ward and the poor staff that transferred me was sent from ward to ward because the management didn’t have a clue what they were doing and just barked orders at 3 in the morning!!!! I recently had surgery. I was very scared and stressed. Luckily for me, I met a wonderful team at DTU who took care of me from the moment I walked in the door until it was all over. Excellent staff, anesthesiologist, doctor, nurses. Very caring, with a smile on their faces, a beautiful word. I was amazed. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the kindness and professionalism you have shown.

There's obviously going to be a lot of disabled (unable)people visiting a hospital so why only a very small disabled parking area! OK they park free of charge but it appears that the most important thing is to charge extortionate fees to park and to get as many payers as possible the free of charge parking is of no benefit when wanting to make money. There's plenty of spaces to have more parking for the unfortunate disabled. Come on Peterborough Hospital get a grip, life's bad enough as is it in this current climate without ... read more
