Dr. Sharkey has been my orthopedist for 10 years, having completed a single successful knee replacement at that time. I am now scheduled for another knee replacement when time allows for elective surgery due to the coronavirus. I cannot imagine allowing any other surgeon to perform such a complicated procedure which will determine my ability to function normally again. He is the best!

Dr. Sharkey replaces my left hip 2 years ago, I went to see him yesterday about my right hip, he could have easily told me to replace the hip but recommended physical therapy. Dr. Sharkey is internationally reknown and is an amazing surgeon, I wouldn’t let anyone else replace my hip as I travel almost two hours to see him. Dr. Sharkey replaced my Granmothers hip and then within 1 year, he replaced her other hip. Also, both her knees were replaced same day approx 6 months post hip replacements. Absolutely wonderful doctor!! He has amazing bedside manners. He was referred to us by a friend who had a knee placement and who was back to work 4 weeks later, no light duty Necessary! Waiting time was short! Dr. Sharky very knowledgeable, caring and suggestive!
I wouldn't go anywhere else. Dr. Sharkey is so easy to talk to. He explains things in a fashion easy to understand. He replaced my knee 4 years ago, excellent recovery. He is now treating me for a hip problem. No place better. Highly recommend Dr. Sharkey.
