Great visit. Dr. Sharkey takes the time necessary to answer all my questions.
Dr. Sharkey always takes the time to explain my problems. He never tries to rush me into surgery, in fact just the opposite. He refers me to the appropriate docs. He is caring and empathetic..just a great doctor!

Two years ago, Dr. Sharkey was my surgeon. I had bilateral knee replacements. Choosing to have the surgery and choosing Dr. Sharkey were two of the best decisions I ever made. My surgery changed my life! Dr. Sharkey was honest with me that the recovery demanded work. He told me that the first 4 weeks would be challenging. They were. But, 4 weeks passes quickly. Two years later, I am able to sit in any chair, climb stairs, go for long walks, even get into a kayak. Dr. Sharkey is the best!
Dr Sharkey had very good bedside manner, he explained everything prior to surgery and then came in after to give me specifics on how it went. After rehab the knee feels like it’s brand new. Would highly recommend having him do your surgery if you haven’t selected one yet
Very friendly and caring doctor & staff. Everyone was friendly and helpful; from my initial call to consult with a doctor to my one-year post surgery follow-up amid the pandemic. The surgery site staff were also very friendly, caring and helpful. I can hardly see my surgical incision! Dr. Sharkey will put you at ease. I would highly recommend Dr. Sharkey and his team!
