I’ve been having issues with my knee recently. Dr. Sharkey is always professional, knowledgeable, and very helpful. He’s also very well aware of all of Rothman’s capabilities.
Once I met with Dr. Sharkey for consultation for a knee replacement, I knew that I had picked the absolute best surgeon to do my surgery. I found him kind, caring, to the point but most of all his sincerity...I left feeling that he genuinely cared about me. That feeling continued with everyone I met involved from his team. Yes, I would definitely recommend Doctor Sharkey for knee and hip replacement... and I have recently done so. In my opinion he is by far the best in his field. I received amazing professional care during my total hip replacement. I am healing splendidly and walk unassisted after just 6 weeks. Dr.. Sharkey patiently answered all of my questions, both pre and post surgical. I always felt calm and confident in his care. I award Dr. Peter Sharkey, and his excellent team, the highest 5-star rating.

Saw Dr. Sharkey for knee pain in April 2021. At that time he suggested non surgical options of injections. Liked that he did not want to just jump in to surgery. Injections held off the pain for several months. Unfortunately lots of arthritis in the knee and wearing away to bone on bone, next option knee replacement.
