Doctor Sharkey and his incredible team replaced my right hip and left knee in the same surgery on 6-26-23I’m very happy I selected Dr Sharkey to perform the procedures. Dr. James Rabano absolutely refused to repair my knee. He said that it would be too dangerous and that it was only for cosmetic purposes. I went to Rothman Institute for a second opinion. First I met with Dr Mahalo for an evaluation. Since my case is very complex he had to confer with his colleagues. Next I was given an appointment with Dr Sharkey an orthopedic surgeon . Dr. Sharkey performed a total knee replacement and hip replacement. He explained to me what he would be doing and also the outcome post surgery. Great personality.

Outstanding, Dr Sharkey showed a lot emphaty and was very concern with other issues that I have. He examined my neck MRI and refered me to another colleague to evaluate my neck condition.
Dr Sharky was very personable and explained the procedure so that I felt comfortable with the upcoming surgery . He performed hip Replacement on my husband a year and a half ago snd he is doing great !
Dr. Sharkey explained everything about my diagnosis and upcoming surgery. I was very anxious to start this process, but now I am confident it will go well.
