My niece used him for her hammer toe surgery and recommended him to me, she loved him! So I recommended him to a friend for a severe bunion surgery, she loved him! Then I had bunion surgery as well. He did a great job! He's a skilled surgeon and cares about his patients. I highly recommend him!
I had very severe ankle breaks. I went to Dr Blume who was highly recommended to me for a second opinion. I am very grateful for the excellent care and attention I received. After being immobile for 5 months,I am now walking again and improving daily. I would highly recommend Dr. Blume and have nothing but praise for his remarkable skill and compassionate manner. One of the luckiest days of my life was when someone recommended Dr. Blume to me for correction surgery. I had previous achilles tendon surgery by a Dr. in Middletown and it was a disaster (I couldn’t walk, or run and I was in constant, constant pain). Excellent surgeon, Changed my life with the surgery he performed.
My surgical needs were straightforward for bunion and hammer toe and all went smoothly. What was exceptional was his sensitivity to my concerns about pain management as someone in recovery. Pre op we had a thorough discussion about the pain management plan. The pain meds were given to my husband at the hospital after surgery in the event needed. In the past I have found Dr. Blume courteous and agreeable. This time they forced me on his partner who is also a nice person and seems a good doctor. However, for 6 months I have tried to get back and see her regarding a toe fungus. The office manager runs things like a prison. She is rude, argumentative and controlling - an example of someone of limited capability taking control of something way above her pay grade. They keep putting me off and when challenged she hangs up the phone - rather unprofessional!
Dr. Blume performed a plantar plate repair on my left foot in September, he also fixed a bunion and hammertoe as well. I received such great care from him and his staff. He got the job done and I had complete confidence in him and his abilities as a surgeon. I am so happy I chose him, as I interviewed many others.
I was extremely satisfied with the treatment I received from Dr Blume. I would not hesitate to use him again.
After two failed surgeries on my foot from another surgeon, I saw Dr. Peter Blume for my bunion and hammer toe and performed my extensive surgery. I just wish I had seen him prior; he is an excellent surgeon and I highly recommend him.
