Our cat Tiger is the meanest cat in America. He will hiss and lash out at someone just walking past him. My son practically had to put on armor to get him into the cat carrier when we discover that he had symptoms of a urinary tract infection. Yet they were able to get him to be calm and even x-rayed to check for bladder stones. And gave him a long acting antibiotic so we didn’t have to try to get pills down him! He’s still a grumpy cat, but at least we’re not worried.
My elderly cat Cocoa was pretty much near death and I walked in totally prepared to euthanize her. But tests showed she had a severe infection caused by a badly infected upper molar due to her lifelong struggle with severe periodontal disease. Dr. Nicole Carista treated her with Covenia and painkiller injections and after 4 days she's able to eat more food and is more alert too. My wife and I cannot say enough about the care our dogs receive at LVAH. We are always greeted warmly upon arriving for a visit and our dogs are treated with kindness and compassion. The vets are extremely knowledgeable, willing to listen, and thorough in their recommendations. Based on the personalized care we have consistently received throughout the years, including the need for emergency surgery for one of our pups, we fully entrust our pets' health to the doctors and staff at LVAH.
Love the Vet’s and the staff and how our fur kids are treated. The Dr’s our fur kids have seen are very attentive and super friendly. The Staff are super friendly as well and very helpful. I would definitely refer my friends and their fur kids to Liverpool Village Animal Hospital! Thank you Liverpool Village Animal Hospital for taking good care of our fur kids!
