Thought I had purchased a vehicle from Peoria Ford 2018 Hyundai sonata sport on February 3rd, did pre approval online and had paid off vehicle for trade in for down payment which they offered me $2500 for trade in. Granted my credit isn't excellent but was very transparent up front before even running credit check and pre approval. Offered zero down out of pocket and told me I was approved with just my trade in for down payment. Classic bait and switch. Dealt with two different sales women online and over the phone. I gave them all of my info including down payment info and what I could do up front and what I needed deferred up to the date of the first payment. They told me mgmt reviewed my file amd could work with me on a 2016 taurus. The next day I drive 40 miles from mesa just to deal with three different people and to be told the car sold last night (it was still sitting in the lot). 2019 Ford Expedition $78,000.00 10-4-19 we purchased the car, after leaving the dealership we found the rear AC not working, I immediately texted ***** our sales agent. ***** told me they would pick the car up Monday and get it fixed. I purchased a 2016 Ford Mustang from Peroia Ford for the agreement of the online price of $17,000. I put $8000.00 down and they gave me $10,000.00 for my car which I owned outright. Now somehow the total sales price is $35,921.52 After hours of negotiations the salesman said he would throw in some extras. Thing I didn't even want. Just bought a car and what a nightmare. First off they switched financing to a different term without telling be right before final signing. I was told I was buying a car with satellite radio, but upon delivery was informed that the car didn't have it. I was pretty upset, and they said they would find another car with satellite radio to swap with the one I had to drive away. On 4/26 we brought our Heavy Duty Truck in for service. Lube Oil and over all free inspection. At check out we were told the tires were in need of replacing but not urgent. The next day less than 24 hours later and after approx 50 miles on the tires while traveling at 65mph our front drivers side tire completely separated. The affect of this caused a 2 car accident with 2 other cars and about $8,000 in front end damage to our truck. FALSE ADVERTISING would be the best description of PEORIA FORD. My husband drove out to see the advertised 2019 Ford Escape listed on their website for $15,888 (+ tax title license) He called prior to driving an hour to get there. Yes, it was still available. He took it for a test drive and was ready to buy it at the advertised price! But then they said they couldn't sell it for $15,888. He showed the salesman the ad as they sat there. I bought a Rear View Mirror from them for $87.11. I asked them how much to install it? It only involved a little wrench which I do not have to remove it, and slide the new one into the Bracket. And plug the Wire into the top. It would take about a minute. They said they wanted $75.00 to do this! When I complained that that was exorbitant, the Service Manager was rude to me, and laughed at me as I left. I was disrespected, and I am a Senior Citizen. Sad... 5-23-2019.
