We booked a week at Penmaenucaf Hall Hotel in the summer as a special treat having not had a holiday in several years. Well, it didn't disappoint; from the warm welcome on arrival, to the stunning grounds and setting on the southern edge of Eryri National Park (Snowdonia), and the well-appointed room with a view. My friend and I stayed here for two nights in a junior suite on our first visit to Wales from Boston, and we had a wonderful experience! We were greeted warmly by the manager and given fantastic service throughout our stay by all staff. We enjoyed cozying up by the fire at night that the staff graciously lit for us in the warm and inviting lounge area. And the grounds? Absolutely stunning.
