Liked it so much last year, we came back! We've never done a repeat visit on our hols - ever! Staff are amazingly helpful, cheerful and nothing is too much trouble. The lodges are clean and tidy, very well appointed and comfortable. Ideal holiday for quiet, relaxing break. The lodges aren't too close or crowded so it feels really private and you can't hear anything but the birds. Private hot tub a huge draw for us, spotlessly clean. 10/10. Very good place
We have just come home from our stay in little log cabin perfect for two and a dog .only one thing that was not great we had to perminanely have the lights on has it was so dark in there being in the middle of trees but an experience we wanted to try out ! The porch was a lovely feature to sit and enjoy the views of the strolling pastures and cows in the fields below . Loved going down of an evening to go and feed the resident donkey Noddy , Tigger and Pablo the ponies .There is a Pig too but a bit shy coming out . Nice walk... read more
Where do I start? Just returned from a weeks stay at the Captains cabin overlooking the golf course. Family of 8 stayed, and weve all returned feeling content with a memorable stay. Lodge was spacious and clean, veranda overlooking the golf course with stunning views of the hills and surrounding countryside. The location is remote, but perfect for privacy and quietness. Welshpool and Newtown are only both 10-15 minutes in the car, where theres plenty of variety of supermarkets, shops. Also most of Wales within 2 hours drive ... read more
