The windows let in a pin drop of sound although they looked like double glazed they didn’t keep the sound form outside out. Poor curtains in every room so thin they may as well not been there! The downstairs shower had drainage problems (probably due to blocked drain) causing small amount of flooding in the tiled bathroom that then became slippery! Rental was not up to standard on arrival. Garden completely overgrown, maggots in the bin, shower grime that wiped off in your hand, no clean glasses, or cups, curtains don't fit or can't be drawn and generally very dirty. It hadn't had a decent clean in months and even the mattress protectors and pillows hadn't been washed in a while. It also lacked suffient pots and pans to cook for 6 but sleeps 8. The cookware that was there was missing lids and the non stick surface was coming off. Good location and parking for 2 cars.

If you are considering a visit to Isle of Wight, this is is a delightful place to stay. It's sparkling clean, centrally located to town, and an easy walk to the sea! We slept well in the comfortable beds and enjoyed the brand new bathrooms. There's a breakfast area, a more formal table and even a place for outside dining. I just loved our time at Pembroke Villa; If I visit Isle of Wight (as I hope to do) I will stay here again. I recommend it wholeheartedly.
