Terrible experience overall. After the installation, which went well, but was incomplete, trying to get the job finished and inspected has turned into over a two month nightmare after the installation. Their lack of response, communication in general and follow through has been insulting and upsetting, to say nothing of unprofessional. I've never had worse customer service as I have with **********************. They initially measured incorrectly in October 2021, then tried to get me to 'work with it'. It's a $10,000 door - no thanks! After some discussion they agreed to order a new door, had a couple of delays and cancellations with the second door. The scheduling rep offered me a 20% check back to be issued when the door was installed. Thieves. I am still in a mess. May 19 2019 May 20 2019.I stopped the install multiple times.The custom slides were hung into no header. Never order any doors or windows from this company , they came:, measured wrong , had installers come 6 months after initial order: they put in one window, said the other window was measured wrong , said they would be back same day to install trim on the one window they got right, never came , one and a half years later no second window and now they are threatening collect agency , I had to pay half of the money up front ***** dollars for one window without the trim , took a day off from work and they never came back. We ordered replacement windows from Pella March 2022. The total was over 22k, and we were told the turn around time was **** weeks. A month later, we got an install date of July 21st, which put it at 16 weeks. We were told they would be here to do the install July 21st and 22nd and possibly a half day on July 23rd. I contacted Pella in early April because of a broken screen door closure. The door was still under warranty and Pella set a date to replace the broken screen door. I was contacted by Pella the day before the installation date to tell me that they no longer make that model and it couldn't be replaced. The workaround Pella suggested was to replace the closing mechanism. After SEVERAL calls to Pella, the replacement parts were sent but they did not include the broken item (retractable chord). Looks like I should've came here first as well. I ordered windows from Pella last NOVEMBER, 6 months later and I still have no windows and my new home construction is at a literal standstill. I cannot move forward. I purchased through ******* and they've changed delivery date 4-5 times in the last two months... May 5th, then May 10th, they May 12th, now they're telling me May 23 and they cant even guarantee that. Through at least 3 attempts Pella Windows and Doors has failed to deliver the appropriate windows for my home at the quality and attentions times detail we paid for. After numerous calls and emails on my behalf and empty responses from Pella, I was told that a credit would be considered from Pella Corproate and that managers would personally review and handle my project to make sure that the next install would be the last, but none of this happened. Pella has failed to deliver windows and doors for eight months after the initial order was placed. Pella has relayed false delivery dates for the order multiple times during that period. Eight months since our order and I still have not been provided with a reliable delivery date for our $18,000 worth of windows and doors.
