Had the windows installed on Super Bowl Day. The installers appeared to be in rush to complete the window projects and did not admit that they damaged three different parts. They were about leaving the house without asking me to check the windows, but I requested one of them to stay until I checked everything, and I found those damages. If I was able to give pella 0 stars I would. I ordered 2 pella custom patio sliding doors through Lowes in ***** **. I paid 4k for these doors it took 4months to arrive when I was giving an estimate of 2 months. They arrived unassembled, both doors opened from the same side, dirty, short in size and without handles. Im returning these doors don't ever intend to do business with Pella or Lowes in ***** ** ever again.
I ordered 6 windows in January 2021. I was told that they would be installed in April 2021. On the installation day, no one showed during the appointed time range. I called in the morning to ask where everyone was. No one called me back until 4 pm that afternoon after an entire day of not knowing if anyone was going to show up. December 28, 2021 Let me start this letter by telling you how I feel...then I will elaborate. Your windows are terrible. Our bills are the same, not lower. Our master bedroom is still burning up every morning. Worst Experience Ever. ********************* sold us the doors, we never heard from him after ordering them. Lack of communication! We have a door that does not slide correctly there is no response to when they can ever fix it. Doors were installed with no thresholds, they put2 x4 under the doors and left them that way, which looked terrible. We do lots of house projects, and this was truly a bad experience. After the ***** freeze in 2021 we realized that we needed to replace the original windows in our house from ****. We decided to go with Pella because we wanted high quality windows and good customer service. We chose the Duracast windows, double pane. The windows were custom built and there was a bit of a lead time for that but that hasn't been unusual in 2021. I ordered a storm door from Pella in dec 2019. It had door closers top and bottom they had plastic parts which broke almost immediately. It is now 2021 and the door handle has not worked since the spring and this week it completely fell apart. A new handle costs $70.
I ordered the whole set of windows for front side of my house through Pella windows (506 E Dallas Rd Suite 100, Grapevine, TX 76051), which costs near 30k. The contract was signed in 06/25/2021 and the installation was set for late Sept. However, before the installation, they informed me one set of windows was delayed until late Oct. Ordered a window from Lowes and it was a Pella. It arrived and I have 8 other ones in my house as I am installing a few every year and this window is junk as the window locks are 3/8 of an inch from being able to lock and a kindergartner cold have put the screen in better. Called Lowes where I ordered and they said to call Pella well Pella said to call where I ordered.
