My husband and I paid for home and auto insurance with Pekin Insurance. My first claim with a hit and run driver drug on and on because the agent taking care of my claim was on vacation. I needed this taken care of right away as I am going in for surgery and will be out of commission for 2 months. Of course, there is no hurry on their part. I would not recommend this company to anyone. It may cost less, but you pay for it in a company that doesn't care,

I would not currently recommend this company for Auto Ins. They cancelled my policy for not receiving the payment after they had already received my payment (full payment) and completely processed it, the check had already cleared. They sent me the cancellation notice 13 days after cancelling my policy, cancelled 10/27/16 and notice sent 11/08/16 and my billing notice shows a due date of 10/29/16. This is totally unacceptable customer service and poor business management!
