I wish there could be a 1/2 star rating. I rented a car in Denver Airport. For the most part the only initial issue i had was the rental place was filthy, trash on the floor, no garbages and only 2 clerks working with a packed lobby. It took 30 mins of waiting in line to get the rental that was prepaid. When I got to the counter things were slowed by their attempt to upgrade and sell insurance. I booked a reservation for a 7 day rental through *****/*********. To book my reservation, I defined my pickup day, but not explicit pickup time. I received my confirmation via email after booking, and it mentioned a 12pm drop off/ pickup time but did not think anything of it. After my flight was delayed, I was 2 hours late picking up my reserved rental. They had canceled my reservation, and while they assured me they still had cars, it would be an EXTRA $200 for the four days as it would have to be an "upgrade". Fine, I needed a car. For a recent trip to San Diego I rented a car through Payless Cars using Expedia. Total cost was $381 for four days. When I went to pick up the car the agent told me it was only a 2-door and too small for three people (not true, Versas are 4 doors), and he would give us an upgrade for $7/day. I said sure, fine. We rented a car from Payless Car Rental at the Miami airport on 4/23. There was no pre or post rental inspection. We received a bill for over $100 for repairs to damages while renting the vehicle. I called customer service asking for a pre or post rental inspection report and they claimed they don't do them due to Covid. I rented a car from the Kansas City MCI airport location. They told me not to worry about all the small dings and scratches (nothing smaller than a quarter would come back to me). After I turned the car back in in exactly the same shape I received it, they called me asking for $4000 to fix hail damage claiming that I had driven the car through a hailstorm while I had it. I never encountered any hail the whole time I had the vehicle! Do not rent from this shady company.

This company gave me the worst experience I ever had in my life, I can't even give them one star. This organization hasn't one competent person that works in the entire company. I just want people to never waste their time depending with this company. I have sent a letter to the Attorney General of Atlanta. FFFFFFFFF is the rating I can't leave, but tried!

Horrible business and customer service! Made a reservation on 5/29/2021 and prepaid $60.18 for a 12 hours rental car, then 5/30/2021 I've decided to modified the reservation to extend the rental to a full day, which I used the $60.18 confirmation number to modified, prepaid again $104.49 and got another confirmation number. I arrived to the San Diego airport and i made a reservation thru ******.com to pick up a car that same night at the airport office for Payless Rental.
