Dr. Calat is the best doctor of ANYTHING I have ever been to. Seriously, I wish Dr. Calat could be my regular dentist, and my primary care physician as well. His care, expertise, and demeanor are simply top notch. I first went to Dr. Calat to have my wisdom teeth removed a couple of years ago. had all 4 wisdom teeth removed by dr. calat. could not have gone any better. no pain, no discomfort. no problems. and a quick recovery - was eating regular food in just a few days. very professional office as well. so no scheduling problems or insurance problems. I'd highly recommend him.
So I have to rave about how great Dr. Calat is, I went to him about 3 years ago and I still remember how GREAT he was. Went in with an extremely infected wisdom tooth, that was causing me to have strep throat and a cold, all during my senior year of college in the midst of finals (right before graduation). I went to Dr Calat to have two implants done. The entire procedure was fully explained to me. I choose general anesthesia for the surgery simply because I was petrified. The Dr as well as the staff was very comforting with my fear. After the procedure, other than a little discomfort I felt no pain. The procedure was a complete succcess! Dr. Calat did my dental implant, and it was a complete success. I had discomfort feeling on a particular gum and root area for a long time and didn't even know which tooth was causing the discomfort. Dr. Calat was the only one doctor who was able to diagnose the problem and explained thoroughly for guidance. I genuinely can not say enough about the quality of the work performed by Dr. Calat and his team. Prior to the procedure, Dr. Calat took great care to explain all parts of the work and the expected outcome with a goal of making me feel comfortable. Dr. Calat was just wonderful!! I had an impacted upper canine that was trying to force it's way out between my permanent teeth - he told me he had to go in through the roof of my mouth which made me even more nervous about the procedure. I opted for IV sedation, there's no way I wanted to be awake for that - I barely remember a thing and I felt zero pain. My surgery was less than a week ago, so I'm pretty sore and swollen as of yet, but I'm healing well. Thanks a million Doc!
I had gone in a few weeks ago for a consultation and had planned to get my upper wisdom teeth out in May. However, due to some pain I needed to push it out to this week and with a weeks notice the office was able to schedule me in.
