I went there for emergency teeth extraction. I felt very comforable, I highly recommend him.
My dentist recommend Dr Calat. My husband and I went there for emergency wisdom teeth removal. They got us in immediately and Dr. Calat was so wonderfully nice and down to earth. He took his time to get to know us and to talk with us before we even got to his xrays. We felt so comfortable and trusting. The staff and him are so wonderful! I went to Dr. Paul Calat's office about two months ago to have all four of my wisdom teeth removed. I highly recommend anyone looking to have their wisdom teeth pulled or any other kind of oral surgery done that you go to him. The office was clean, modern and I was seen at my scheduled time. Under the circumstances I am happy I went to this doctor - he tried his best to ease my anxiety - I have to get 22 teeth pulled - I have sepsis due to gingivitis. Although I have a great deal of success for this dentist I have to say that after getting major - multi tooth surgery I wish I went to a surgeon who could have prepared me for the long term pain and psychological aspects of getting so many teeth pulled. I needed to get an impacted wisdom tooth removed that I had been putting off for eons. From the time I walked through the door into reception, to the dental hygeniest helping with the x-rays, to Dr. Calat himself---everything was top notch. My mom googled for oral surgeons after I was finally hospitalized for my tooth pain. I have to go to MANHATTAN from the MidHudson Valley to locate a fantastic oral surgeon that takes my insurance and it was worth it. My part, after insurance was about 300, less than a third of another dr's estimate ( this other dr. didn't take my insurance and asked me to pay 1500 bucks in full!!!)
