The office staff is great and very professional. Dr. Calat is so caring and he makes everyone feel very comfortable. He explains everything. All we can say is that he is awesome!!!!
My husband is a terrible patient and put off getting his wisdom tooth extracted for way too long! Dr. Calat immediately put him at ease with his calm and professional demeanor. He was all smiles when he was done and he said Dr Calat was extremely gentle and took his time. I can’t say enough about the beautiful office and amazing staff too! Nina, the office manager is super helpful and professional. The assistants, Luis and Kim were very patient and kind. I highly recommend Mid-Manhattan Oral Surgery!

I postponed having my wisdom tooth removed for years because my previous experience elsewhere was very painful. Now I feel silly for waiting. Dr. Calat was lovely; he was informative and kind. The extraction was incredibly quick and completely painless with just local anesthesia. And no pain even after the local wore off. I highly recommend Dr. Calat!
Beware of this practice. While making an appointment they would say that they accept the insurance and once you visit, they would say that they are out of network. They rush to provide their services, but I was very cautious and asked them to show me the breakdown of the price for the services they are planning on rendering. It is during this time I found out that they are out of network and their charges are insane.
Dr Calat proceeded an extraction of both premolars for my 10 years old daughter. He was very comforting during the procedure and she was very relaxes after the first 4 injections. She recovered almost the same day. I would recommend him to any mother feeling nervous about such surgery
Dr Calat and staff are wonderful. Our appointments begin on time and are everything one hopes for when having a scary procedure. Everyone is kind, careful and Dr Calat is an expert. He has done procedures on My children and members of my extended family. He is thorough, never rushed and we have total confidence in him and his staff. I recommend him 100%.
Dr Calat is the best in his field. Not only is he a great Oral Surgeon, but he's so personable and easy to have everything he does explained where even a child will understand and feel totally relaxed knowing they're in good hands. His prices are also very reasonable.
My 18 year old daughter needed her wisdom teeth out and was scared. Boy, are we glad we came to see Dr. Calat: he is highly-skilled, empathetic, kind, low-key and confident. He handled the surgery beautifully and provided us excellent support. Would highly recommend Dr. Calat and his lovely office team. Unusually pleasant experience overall!
