A great selection for all sizes Patricia Buck Bridal is a great place to start your bridal gown search. They have a very extensive inventory of gowns in many sizes so there are plenty of styles to choose from. They also have many designers and are usually willing to tell you what style number the dress is. The staff is friendly and very knowledgeable about the dresses in their inventory. You will want to make an appointment if you're planning on going on the weekend, they are usually very busy.
Question if they want the business My daughter was getting married. She and her two sisters went in to Patricia Buck to look for dresses. This was to be a formal wedding and what they were looking for was more important then the price at that time. However, when they went in they were directed away from the dresses they were looking at. They were told that unless they were really serious about buying, that these dresses were two expensive for just trying on. This store has my vote! II had read the reviews and was leery of going all the way to Augusta but my daughter had done some web research and found that Patricia Buck's Bridal was the only shop in Maine that carried Pronovias. I called to make an appointment but was told that they didnât make appointments.(which is not what I read in the reviews) It was a cold wet snow-slush day, when we arrived there was a basket of fresh clean slippers to wear. "Brides, Beware" is Good Advice...Stay Away I was married in Maine in 2004 and although I did not buy my wedding dress from Patricia Buck Bridal, I did take it there for alterations. We were a bit surprised at the anachronistic record keeping, mentioned by other reviewers, but let it go. As it turns out, that was a big mistake. Stay Away Lousy customer service and rude employees. We ordered a confirmation/first communion dress for our daughter in February more than two months before needed. Seven weeks later it arrived with a hem done by a two year old with dull scissors. On Friday at 5:30 PM before the big day on Sunday, we got a call that the fixed dress was ready to be picked up. Patricia Buck Bridal is GREAT I spent about 3 hours this weekend at P. Buck Bridal and have to say, I think these reviews are off. Yes, there isnât anyone fawning over you when you are trying on dresses â but you also donât pay the markup you would in other bridal salons. Patricia Buck Bridal is the best place to go to get a wedding dress i got my wedding dress and a flower girl dress from Pat and she has some good looking dresses a lot to pick from. and if you can't pay for the upfront she can do some pay plans so you can get your dress. and she is vary helpful picking out dresses.. she helped me pick out my wedding dress. she has some 25$ dresses and some really exspensive ones but she has diffrent dresses but they are all nice and so is Pat.. she knows her dresses..
AVOID! DON'T GO HERE!!! Customer service lousy ONE example being my friend was told to throw her wedding gown (not the sample) over a dirty plastic chair in a dirty changing room by the sales lady instead of the sales lady coming in & assisting in hanging it back up, the place is very old & filthy. most merchandise VERY outdated. Avoid this shop!
Do not go here! Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever seen and the worst part is there is always a problem that they have to fix so you are constantly having to deal with them. DO NOT GO HERE!
