dissatisfied customer – I went to Parlor after reading the rave reviews here on CitySearch. Everyone there was fairly congenial - you can help yourself to a cup of coffee and a plethora of mags as you wait. The haircut I received left a lot to be desired though. I could have been a walk-in at any chain salon (Jean-Louis David or similar) and gotten the same results at a fraction of the price. Great for guys too. – I usually don't spend this much on haircuts but it was well worth it. No more 'chop-jobs' for me. Kim really took the time, listened and even showed me some pics to further narrow down what I wanted. She's really up on the trendiest dos for guys so check it out.
Best haircut ever – I have been to both Gwen and Gina at Parlor and both are fantastic. I have received three very different, very good looking, very original haircuts from Parlor in the three times I've gone.
Awesome place!! – I was a little apprehensive at first, having been unable to find a reasonably-priced stylist and colorist who did good stuff. On the advice of someone, I saw Kerrie she is amazing. I have lost count on the number of people who have commented on my highlights, and the cut she gave was amazing!! Thank you Kerrie!
parlor-iffic – not the most convenient for me, thats for sure, but the trek downtown was well worth it. go there, youll be impressed. and theyre so nice!
no complaints from me – I just came back from parlor for the first time, and I'm definitely going back. A very hip atmosphere, very cool people, and most importantly I now have hair that I love. And a great price too for what you get.
Gwen is a genius – I have been going to Gwen ever since she opened several years ago. Great place to get your hair cut. Gwen and her staff are professional and friendly and the atmosphere is relaxed. Worth every $
Great Haircut – Parlor is a great salon. My stylist took time to listen to what I had to say, and she made sure I left with my hair exactly the way I wanted it. She even offered to do a free "adjustment" if I had any problems styling it at home. A worthwhile expereince!
nice but sleek – Very nice hairdresser and sleek, well-designed parlor gets my vote for a good place to get a quality haircut, feel nice and not spend a ton.
