I finally found a hairdresser – I have been going from place to place looking for a salon that will listen to what I want, have a knowledge of my hair type, and give me a haircut that looks good after I leave the salon. a loyal customer for 3 years! – I lived in london for a few months in 2002 and got my hair cut and highlighted at this FANTASTIC place called Fish. a marvelous haircut – a lovely woman named katherine took my straight thin unstyled hair and made it a graduated bob with waves i never knew i had. it looks even better after sleeping on it. i am thrilled.
rachel changed my life – I am a dude, who doesn't really like to bother with my hair, or haircuts. but for some reason i was led to parlor and into rachel's capable hands. She could actually cut my hair so it looked good and i didn't have to do anything. more than that she showed me that cutting hair is a pretty impressive art, and science really. And the amount she knows about how hair works is truly amazing. she is basically a craftsperson...like a wood worker with hair. i was impressed, and i got an excellent haircut.
Rachel is a genius! – I recently had my hair cut by Rachel B. and she is fantastic! I arrived at the salon early and she got started straight away. Rachel Rocks My World – I want to testify to the fact that Parlor is the city's #1 salon and in particular, Rachel Banks has saved my head, my hair, my social life and my business. Seriously, she was recommended to me by a friend and she gave me the best haircut I have ever had (and I've had plenty). She knew exactly what to do with my 'hopeless' situation and I walked out of there looking and feeling like a new man. (not to mention she is soooo nice and unbelievably sexy). Go see her.
RACHEL IS THE WAY TO GO!!! – Rachel seems to have the skills of a hair god! No matter what texture, gender, style, face shape- Rachel knows how to get the job done-and then some. Always helpful in figuring out a style or cleaning up an old one. She was incredibly stylish, sensible, no pressure, efficient. Overall, could not have asked for a better experience. The whole place is amazing, very friendly, cozy, relaxed. But Rachel is the reason I will go back there from now on!!!
Staff Changes got me down – I had my hair cut by Kerri for years. Since she left I am having trouble finding the right replacement - still I love this low key salon!
Top Salon! – I moved to New York three months ago. I have been going to Parlor on a friends reccomendation. She gets her hair done with Kristen. I have been to her once and was very happy with the results. She took time with me and was patient. The results were a lovely color and cut. she is truly great. i will definitely be booking all of my future appointments with her.
