SO HAPPY!!! – This past weekend I went to Parlor for the first time. I was a little nervous about trying a new salon. My nerves were eased as I immersed from the salon as a natural looking blonde. My cut looked just like the picture we discussed, so I will definitely be back to see Kristen at this great salon.
What else can I say....this is a great salon. I've been coming here for years and have always been happy with the results. People are always complimenting me on my hair and I keep sending them over. Thanks girls!
Highly Recommended – My stylist moved out of NY last summer so I was in a bind. I have been going to Parlor for about six months now. I have been seeing Cristen. She listens to what I want and does a wonderful job on my cut and color. I always feel great when I leave the salon and her prices are very reasonable for NYC. I have recommended all of my friends to her. The salon has a warm atmosphere and I love that they use aveda products. I highly recommend parlor!!!!!
They turned my blond hair gray-green – This is a true story from 2001. I went in to have my highlights done and the my hair came our gray-green. The woman - one of the owners or sister of the owner, said she would try to fix it the following week. (was she going to charge me again?) She look so worried and told me that I should not blow it out during the week either - this meaning that she knew she had made a mistake. I ended up not going back and having my hair dyed brown. Parlor Rocks – Finally I have found a salon I can go back to! I am one of those gals whose hairdresser up and left Manhattan and I have been wandering since. I went to Parlor, found Amy and fully intend on making all of my future hair appointments with her! We talked at length about what I wanted and what would suit me and then she cut away... now that the cut has had a couple of weeks to grow in.. it is absolutely perfect! And totally affordable at $50 bux.. thanks Amy!
I love Parlor. Gwen has given me the best haircut of my life! I have a lot of hair that can tend to go pyramid shaped without the right cut and products. Gwen revolutionized my hair with her cut and helping me to know what products to use and how to use them. NO MORE PYRAMID POWER!
Great Find!! – Parlor is definetly a cute laid-back space with a friendly staff and awesome scalp massages. Kimberly is my stylist and I always get a ton of compliments on my hair. She always gives good suggestions and pays attention to detail. Just found out Kim has moved to Laicale salon, so I'll be there soon.
Brilliant – Parlor was reccomended to me by a fellow thick hair friend and was absolutely the business! I got an appointment for the day after I callled, friendly and effecient service and best of all a great hgaircut by Kimberly/Kim. Great Cut! Great Value – I have curl/wavy and fine hair that tends to be impossible to style. I went to Palor and had a cut with Kim on Friday and I love, love, love what she did. This place is a huge find. Smart, knowledgeable staff and friendly, stylish environment.
